If anyone feels like having a pleasant evening with candlelight and intimate ambiance, try 1917 Blinis & Vodkas. They have a good assortment of smoked fish (salmon, tuna, herring, etc) on top of freshly baked blinis and a choice of 30 different kinds of vodka from Estonia, Russia, Poland, France, Argentina, etc. And the location is perfect: next to the Teatro Real (Madrid's Opera House).

Last year I went on this tour called Vodkatrain that takes you on the Trans-Mongolian Railway and you get to visit all these far out places like Mongolia (my favourite) and China and Russia.

It's really cool because it's like a tour but with younger people on it and you get to do your own thing but have these Honchos that tell you the best places to go and cheapest way to get there.

I got to stay at a Ger camp and visit Mongolian families, it was awesome. And there's as much vodka on this trip as your belly can carry!

Going to Vietnam with them this year!

With this being Hong Kong which type of bar would you most expect to find?

That's right… Balalaika is a Russian theme bar complete with huge bust of Lenin, lots of Soviet propaganda posters, red flags and a -20 degree celcius Siberian Vodka Room complete with fur coats (on loan, not to keep. And it's fake fur by the way).

There are over 60 types and flavours of vodka to try as well as a restaurant serving up typical Russian fayre and live Russian music.

Simply walk up Theatre Lane from Central MTR Station and be greeted by D'Aguilar Street. Walk up the steep slope, follow it round to the left and it's upstairs on the right.
