Spend a day in Montmarte. A nice, easy route is: Abbesses Metro. Up the hill to Sacre Coeur (best views in the City!) down to the charming Musee de Montmarte (12 rue Cortot).

Finish up near the Moulin Rouge with a coffee at Le Cafe de Deux Moulins (15 Rue Lepic) - "Amelie's cafe" (bar the lack of a tobacconist's stall, exactly as you remember it).
