    True Italian Cuisine

    Posted by B7BItaly 13 July 2010

In the Oltrepo Pavese area, Lombardy, life is still authentically Italian, as is the food. Not spoiled by tourists, the mammas still cook as they did generations ago. Simple but delicious food with ingredients of their own "orti", of the season. Come to experience this at one of the best restaurants of the region, Bagarellum, or order a cookery class at B&B Villa I Due Padroni.

    Autumn amidst the vineyards

    Posted by B7BItaly 19 September 2009

After the harvest of the grapes, mid-September, the vine leaves turn yellow, red, and the landscape becomes an impressionist picture. You can walk through it and enjoy the mild climate of autumn in Italy.

The Oltrepo Pavese region of Lombardy, www.duepadroni.it in the hills 70 km south of Milan.

The wine region of Lombardy with tens and tens of cantines. Combine the best of both worlds and stay in the tranquil Oltrepo, while visiting Milan during the day or night.

Villa B&B in the beautiful hills of the Oltrepo Pavese, the largest wine region of Lombardy. Hardly known abroad, this region produces the largest quantity of wine of whole Lombardy, in each of its many many little cantines.
