Varanasi is surreal place. The second you step onto the street you will be swarmed by beggars and people looking to sell you anything. It gets annoying but just ignore it or politely refuse. Boat rides at sunset are a must, don't settle for any time but just before sunrise in the morning. The sun rising on the Ganges is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Remember to respect their culture and not photograph the burning bodies along the ghats.

The Emerald Buddha temple is perhaps the most famous Buddhist temple in Bangkok and features some beautiful art and architecture. It should not be missed if you're visiting Bangkok and you are interested in Buddhism.

Make sure to dress accordingly in long pants for your visit. And always make sure to tell your taxi driver to turn the meter on when going anywhere, never agree to a pre-arranged price.

Good bargaining skills are a must for any traveller to India, and Delhi has some great places to practice. Remember that some places have fixed prices, this will usually be posted somewhere in the store.

Sometimes a merchant may try to trick you and say "fixed price", simply turn around and walk out. If he's lying, he'll stop you and offer "special price". In most markets like Jaanphat, and Dilli Hatt you can get great deals. A good method is to offer half of what they want and then from there work your way up slowly if you need to.
