Great restaurant where the super chefs of tomorrow are being trained for a tiny fraction of the price you would expect for aplace of this quality. The standards are very high and the service is great. Also has a great bakery. A little known secret in Vancouver.

Best collection of Northwest native art in the world. Stunning setting for beautiful artefacts, totems and the famous sculpture by Bill Reid (The first men). Do not miss

Worth the trip alone. The Pacific beaches are stunning and Tofino is a great little town - posh-hippy, laid back, with great restaurants. The Rainforest Cafe offers sublime high quality food. Walk through the temperate rainforests and the cathedrals of tall cedars and pines. You will probably see bears on your way too. In Tofino try the Wolf House bed and breakfast, a really great bed and breakfast with lots of character.

    Deep Cove

Posted by Framboise 10 May 2006

Gorgeous little village by the water with nice restaurants and even a little theatre, for a nice quiet time after the hustle and bustle of the big city. Only half an hour's drive, but a world away .

Take the Dollarton Highway or the Mount Seymour exit off the Second Narrows Bridge. If you stay on the Dollarton Highway it will lead you right into Deep Cove; www.deepcovebc.com
