    The South Down's Way

    Posted by Mason1 26 March 2012

An immensely popular, 102 mile national trail, that takes you from Winchester in Hampshire to Eastbourne in East Sussex, via the most stunning countryside that the UK has to offer.
We took a three-day cycle on mountain bikes (with front suspension), though the route is suitable for any bike. A mixture of flat country-lanes and more difficult mountain slopes takes in a route used by traders for centuries. If the water-taps along the way do not suit your tastes, there are a number of rider-friendly pubs. Likewise, there are at least six bed and breakfast's for you to choose from before you finish at Beachy Head, which overlooks the English Channel.

    Arizona Biltmore Hotel

    Posted by Mason1 12 March 2012

An absolutely stunning hotel in the midst of the bustling city of Phoenix. Don't be fooled by the Arizona desert, this is one of the best hotels I've visited. With two golf courses, eight swimming pools and spacious rooms, no one is gong to be disappointed by choosing the Biltmore.

    Sol Beach Bar

    Posted by Mason1 11 March 2012

Located on the stunning Levante beach in Benidorm lies the spacious and popular Sol Beach Bar. Whether you desire a milkshake with the family on the large terrace or the football match on one of seven television screens inside, the friendly and multilingual staff will make sure you have a good time. Following on from some delightful sea-food or a good old burger, why not sip on a cocktail such as a 'Caipirnha' or the more adventurous 'Tequila Sunrise'.

    Chez Germaine

    Posted by Mason1 24 February 2012

It is not often that you can find an excellent bistro in Paris at very reasonable prices, but Chez Germaine certainly ticks all the right boxes.
Directly in the heart of Paris (7th district), the restaurant exudes class and authenticity with its simple, yet elegant interior. Likewise, with its daily special set menus and extremely friendly (and English speaking!) waiters, there is no wonder why Chez Germaine is so popular for both locals and tourists alike.
If it is classic French dishes you are after, I would recommend a homemade terrine to start with, followed by pork with lentils. If you are still not full after that (doubtful), I would top the meal off with a papillon au chocolat. Glorious!
Suitable for both romantic dinner dates and a family lunch, though one final tip would be to book in advance as it is a little small and obviously always crowded!
Set lunch and dinner with three courses- €18.60.
