    Sydney Fish Market

    Posted by MellyMel66 19 February 2011

No trip to this wonderful city is complete without a trip to its famous Fish Market - a real foodie's paradise. It is the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and auctions over 100 species daily. You can have a guided tour or you can take a course at the Seafood School. Best of all, you can eat delicious, freshly landed seafood on the quayside, but watch out - you may have to share your meal with the locals - cheeky pelicans that come right up to the table in the hope of a free lunch.

    Ewich House

The owners of this incredible B&B, Deb and Ian, should offer courses to other B&B owners on how to run a successful business. Their attention to detail is second to none - carefully sourced organic products (everything from the soap to the ingredients for our delicious breakfast). We were made to feel extremely welcome with a wonderful roaring fire on our arrival. Our room was really stylish and comfortable. The location is stunning and an ideal stop off for trips to the West Highlands if you are coming from Edinburgh or Glasgow. We have stayed in many B&Bs and hotels and this is certainly one of the very best. They even have llamas! All this for £35pppn - superb value.
