    Waiheke Island

    Posted by Mickg123 29 May 2009

There are about a dozen major vineyards on this charming island.

Just get the ferry from down town Auckland and you're there in about 30 minutes.

On a beautiful summer's day there's nothing better than ambling around the island drinking wine, eating food and having fun.

Take a right at the Viaduct, Auckland.

    Hotels

When visiting Sydney the temptation is to stay in the Rocks (the district the world thinks of as Sydney). Don't, it's a tourist trap. Instead, consider Kings Cross or Darlinghurst. These districts are the heart of Sydney. Not as pretty but much more fun.

    Hotel Leela

    Posted by Mickg123 22 July 2008

If you're just in Mumbai for the day, passing through, stay at the Leela. It's a good five-star hotel two minutes from the international airport. Mumbai is a fantastic city but traffic can be a problem so if you don't have to journey into her, don't.
