This isn't a particularly posh restaurant, it would probably be best described as rustic. It is housed in a fantastic, converted warehouse which makes an amazing setting for a meal.

Food is a wonderful mixture of French and Italian. They also do great fish platters with whole lobsters etc. There is an extensive wine list, and also (of course) an extensive list of beers. As well as the restaurant there is also a bar which you can visit for a drink.

Pakhuis is popular with locals, which I always think is a good sign.

The restaurant is relatively expensive with main courses costing about £15. A meal for two with wine would probably come to £70. All of their food is vegetarian and is fantastic - and this is coming from a committed carnivore.

It is also very good value, with prices much cheaper than Starbucks and other chains that are also to be found in Greenwich.

The staff are excellent, and it made me smile that they wore uniforms. It is a very popular restaurant with tourists and locals.
