About a mile down the road from Glencoe is a small, very old pub called the Clachaig Inn - its Boots Bar has a huge range (at least 100 different) of single malt whiskies.

The Oban distillery is definitely worth a visit, as is the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull.
