Don't be fooled by the name. This place is a non-stop rip off from the word go. The staff will try to befriend you and get you to take them out (at your expense, with no thankyou and like they have done many times before), they will pressure you to buy the local tours, buy a suit (well above market price), they will recommend the most expensive places to visit and try to get a cut out of it. The owner of the hostel is fine but the two young employees are the problem. One looks at pornography all day in internet room, the other just works her charm. The two comments that stick in my mind are "foreigners are all rich" and "there's the cashpoint".
Please be careful. I am definately not the only one with a negative experience. Other than that it's a nice place to stay and Chiang Mai is fantastic.
