If I had to go to Paris once again I would definitely choose Montparnasse, because it is not far from the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. In addition to this, Saint Germain de Pres is pretty close (15 minutes on foot) so you will able to see the chuch mentioned in the Da Vinci Code.
If you want to spend a weekend in this part of the town choose this hotel, a three-star with a lovely garden where you can relax after walking all day.

This Aparthotel is very nice and cosy. 18 elegant self-catering flats with the service of a three-star hotel!
What is more, staff are kind and always willing to suggest and book excursions. This kind of accommodation also suits businessmen. Last but not least, breakfast is served in a striking cellar with brick walls! Highly recommended.

I felt perfectly comfortable during my stay in Venice. We were a group of people and our trip was arranged by a local tour operator that I found surfing the net. I contacted them by email and accommodation and all ground services were perfectly organised (boat trip to the islands, restaurants, guide and museums). Since I was the leader of a group of 23 people I felt a bit stressed until our vacation was over, but now I can tell you that it was brilliant! So do not miss the boat trip to Murano, Burano and Torcello, and ask for a trip off the beaten track... far and away from the crowds. They can handle it!

I am just back from Barcelona. Wonderful city, even if I found a temperature that was much more similar to the winter rather than the beginning of spring. Anyway, I spent my stay at Hotel Lleo, a nice hotel, clean, with friendly staff, and located in a highly strategic location. I would recommend it to everybody, and, definitely, I will stay at it next time I'll be in Barcelona again.

This hotel located in a small oasis set between sea and hills, surrounded by palm and century-old trees in perfect harmony with the lush environment of the Riviera dei Fiori and with the elegant Sanremo gardens.
I've been there this spring and I would recommend this place to anybody.

Amorgos...what a natural paradise! It is off the beaten track, it is getting famous due to the fact that Luc Besson shot his movie Le Gran Bleu there. This kind of accommodation is perfect if you want to stay in the middle of the island.

Surfing the net, I was looking for something for my weekend in Paris, la ville lumiere. I found this guide with basic information about this town with also a printable pdf version.
Obviusly it doesn't describe all about this town, but at least, it is a good point to start. There is also a detailed map of the metro.

This hotel, formerly knew as Nevsky 22, is comfortable, if you desire to spend your stay in the city centre of Petersburg.
In fact, it takes just a few minutes to get to the Hermitage (what a museum!). What is more, Nevsky Prospect is amazing: this boulevard was built in the 18th century and it is full of Italian and French influence: Saint Petersburg is really the union of two different cultures!

When I travel I always book a guide, but when I do not have time enough to buy it, I surf the most relevant information on the net.
By surfing, surfing and surfing I've found this guide that gives some tips about this amazing town. This is not complete but at least it is a good point to start with.

Hey, surfing the net I have found this useful travel guide that gives tons of tips to the independent travellers! Furthermore, I think it is a good source of information because you can deal with hotel's official sites, avoiding paying commission to intermediaries.

The Villa Gaia Hotel is situated in the historic center of Taormina, just 30 meters from the Duomo, and offers a magnificent view of the crystal-clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea! I've been here with my wife and had a very pleasent stay.

This 4 star hotel is very unique because it has been run by the same family for at least 40 years. This is a plus for every single guest experience: when you get inside you are not treated as a client, but as a friend. Furthermore, a must is the 5. pm tea offered every day in the garden.

This charming Inn is unique, because besides having 4 charming rooms, it is possible to eat in the restaurant downstairs, which is run by the same owner.
The location is perfect: between the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark Square.

This hotel is a stone's throw from St. Mark Square. Staff are nice (ask for Federica!) and helpful in finding the right places to visit. There are two different restaurants run by the same owner, where you can eat without being ripped off (which is very usual in Venice). We went to both of them: one is the typical osteria with traditional Venetian cuisine, the other is a 3 star restaurant with a great selection of wines. Lastly, the hotel is brand new, so you can find all the modern comforts.
