I went to a bullfight near Margao. It consisted of two large bulls eyeing each other until they were goaded into charging. The fight lasted just long enough (about 6 seconds) for one of them to decide it wanted no part of such foolishness and flee through the crush of spectators. The villagers who owned this bull, and who had bet heavily on a different outcome, decided that the referee (yes, there was one!) had been 'bought' and beat him up.
Margao, infrequently.
