Firstly, one of THE best looking neo Gothic buildings in the world - a truly magnificent piece of architecture, on a street packed with architectural gems.
Once inside, you'll find everything from Holbein to Hockney with everything in between.
It's also a great place for kids with regular activities aimed at the little artist in the family (and you don't have to be a master to join in - my two year old loves it!)
William Brown Street
In one of the most interesting streets in Liverpool, Bold Street, Microzine offers men's attire you won't find in many other shops and art by people such as Jamie Reid (best known for his work with the Pistols).
Plus the fact it has THE best cafe bar - Micro Pushka, with great priced food from the Pushka restaurant. FAB!
Bold Street
A skip away from the best Victorian pub in Liverpool - The Philharmonic - the Side Door is a foodie's paradise.
Laid back surroundings, great food, great prices - well recommended!
Hope St, Liverpool
The best Italian in Liverpool - great food, great atmosphere, reasonably priced where you can rub shoulders with members of Liverpool FC and Everton FC, local actors and musicians. If your visit's an evening one, make sure to book.
Cook Street, a stumble from Matthew Street
