    Pulcinella

Fab, cheap pizzas and good Italian eats in Soho on Old Compton Street. Then why not go for 'un caffe' italiano' afterwards at Bar Italia just over the road.

    Conor Restaurant

Posted by irishcaterina 17 October 2005

A lovely small bistro/restaurant, it's not too expensive and has all kinds of cuisine including modern Irish. It's in an old artist's studio, opposite the Ulster Museum. I would definitely recommend it.

    Shakespeare & Co Bookshop

Posted by irishcaterina 17 October 2005

It is a quirky bookshop crammed full of all kinds of hidden gems - right opposite Notre Dame. You may recognise it from the Before Sunset film with Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke. The extremely hospitable owner loves putting up wannabe artists and writers in the rooms above the shop (and friends of the staff - me!).
