A dive bar with live music that is always filled with a huge mix of people from local Bukowski type drinkers to LA hipsters. Last time I was there I asked the owner what time they closed. It's remarkably good value, on the strip and the tower suites are spacious with a fridge and wet bar (rare and great if you're with a group and want to start the night off cheaply).
