A bar that's quite trendy-looking, with a good selection of well-priced cocktails and light meals. We went in there on a Saturday and there was a jazz band playing who were quite good.

One of Nuremberg's most popular night-time locations, the Wax Lounge is in the BA (Bavarian American) Hotel. This bar/club attracts a young crowd who take advantage of upmarket but reasonably-priced drinks and bang-up-to-date sounds from top DJs.

A visit to one of the world's largest harbours would definitely be incomplete without having taken one of the harbour or canal boat tours (Große Hafenrundfahrt or Fleetfahrt) which start from the Landungsbrücken.
Try what’s known as Fracula, which is beer with strawberries at the bottom of the glass. Sounds horrible, but it isn’t.
A reasonably-priced and nice lunch complete with a good view of the city can be found on the top-floor restaurant of the Kunstmuseum, a giant glass box that houses the city's art collection.
