    Kollwitzplatz Market

    Posted by paulb48 24 January 2006

After a morning trawling through KaDeWe and the other department stores, this was a real breath of fresh air. An excellent organic food market, with more besides, it gave me an early glimpse of the real Berlin and Berliners, strolling around on a late autumn afternoon. Highly recommended.

    Bistro Chez Maurice

A very cosy French restuarant, with the emphasis on good food and a warm atmosphere. The food is always of the best quality, the wines are clearly chosen by a discerning nose and the service is friendly, attentive, but never intrusive.

    Haut und Sein

A really great place to unwind, by having a calming facial massage, or an astrology consultation. It's situated in quietly cool Mulackstrasse, in a courtyard between Manngo - an excellent, friendly Vietnamese restuarant and the newly-arrived gourmet pasta shop. I was recommended to it by word of mouth and thoroughly recommend a visit.
