The apartments are useful for longer stays, where a hotel would be a little bit stifling. For hotels they have a last minute section with great rates that are sometimes 50% discount from the standard price.

Stayed in a nice flat just 100 metres off the Old Town square. This website offers a number of centrally located rentals and I highly recommend it for anybody who wants a bit more of a bargain than the high priced Prague hotels have to offer!
