    George Hotel

    Posted by smithy7 18 May 2007

Old coaching house/pub/market town hotel. Stayed over with some friends last weekend, and enjoyed some serious old England hospitality.

On the market square right in the middle of town.

    Seven Stars Pub in Redcliffe

    Posted by smithy7 18 May 2007

It's one of Bristol's oldest pubs with a great history linking it with the abolition of slavery. A small ale house on a cobbled street with old wooden floor and lots of character.

Just off Bristol Bridge in Thomas Lane.
