One of the best Churrascuria restaurants in Rio where a never ending supply of meat is paraded out of the kitchen on swords and carved directly onto your plate. Great all you can eat buffet too. Pricey but worth it.

Take the tram to Santa Tereza, travelling over the aquaduct. Fantastic experience and gives a great (and safer) view point of Santa Tereza district. Take the tram at around midday and watch all the school kids clambering on around you (it's a free ride if you hang off the side!) Fantastic but watch your wallet.

Go to the restaurant by the tram stop at the bottom of the tram line near to the modern cathedral. Wonderful value and packed to the rafters with locals which proves the food is wonderful.
