A perfect chance to see the way in which two cultures, the way in which east and west, truly meet in Istanbul. Hagia Sophia is now a museum but was previously a church and later a mosque. The beautiful building shows various aspects of two cultures. Hagia Sophia truly allows the cultural richness of Istanbul to be seen.

The museum is also located close to the Blue Mosque

The palace is a very beautiful insight into Venice and truly is the perfect example of a wonderful and majical Veneican Palace. It is great for art lovers, as there are a number of excellent paintings. The site also has a rich history based around the Palazzo being the residence of most of Venice's doges. The palace is fanatastic for getting an insight into the politics and culture of Venice. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to look around as there is a museum and plenty of rooms to see.

The central part of the American politcal system is in Washington and a visit to Washington gives you a great insight into the political system of America. There is a great deal of history in the city as well, including beautiful memorial buildings to previous political leaders. These buildings are amazing and a must see, with fountains and green plants to add to the beauty. Moreover the city provides the traveller with a real feel of the USA.
