This restaurant is run by a women's cooperative and we were quite curious to try it. Not a cheap restaurant and located out of the Medina so with a supplementary cost of the taxi, but it deserves the visit. We had dinner with a reservation and the food quality was excellent. The menu is a la carte - a thing unusual for a Moroccan restaurant in Marrakech, so you can choose how much you want to eat. The dishes are beautifully prepared and distinctive. The pastilla of pigeon was wonderful and the lamb tagine was excellent too.

Dar Azawad has been our last hotel in Morocco and a good experience too.
We spent three days there before our flight back. At the border of the desert in a nice palm grove oasis, this hotel with the architectural style of a kasbah, offers quite good service and the nicest food in the area. (We tried two other Kasbahs’ restaurants in the area and the quality of the meal and service was very poor.)
Our room was in a bungalow in a beautiful garden full of birds and with a large swimming pool and, despite the lack of originality, spotless and with large beds: we slept very well. The French manager has done his best to provide English information about excursions, restaurants and directions.
All together a nice souvenir, but it’s a pity that the local authorities do not care about the rubbish on the public areas.

We flew to Marrakech on Thursday 25 Feb for four days for some much needed winter sun. Having read the reviews for Hotel Riad Al Moussika, we decided that was the place, having trawled through numerous other websites and made various phone calls. It is all true, this has to be one of the most stunning riads I have seen to date: beautifully decorated in the most authentic style of the region. The riad has a decent size pool, a Moorish court where they serve you meals when the weather is nice and a large roof terrace for those seeking the sunshine. The hotel also has its own hammam, we tried it and you do come out of there feeling like a whole new person.

The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, the staff friendly and welcoming and the food delicious and plenty of it! We stayed in the Green Room. I would recommend this room, you get your own private roof terrace, so if you are looking for some real down time but yet close to all the action of the Jemaa El Fna Square then you must stay at hotel Riad Al Moussika. Thank you to Hassan and Atiqa for making our stay so memorable, we hope to come back and visit soon.
